Cover for ImagineFX Magazine 2019
What started out as an illustration tutorial for this issue of ImagineFX magazine became the cover in the end, which was a big honor.

This has been the first children’s book cover I have created and it was a blast to work on. It is a beautiful story in a beautiful natural setting, which I obviously love to paint.

I worked with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt on this cover which was a dream project for me. I loved the story and was happy to bring the amazing female protagonist of the story to life.
Steam Profile background
Valve reached out to me to create an animated background illustration for users of the Steam platform to use as their profile background. This meant an artwork that is screen wide with rather quiet visual in the middle section where the actual user profile would be overlaid and more contrast and interest on the sides.
Except for the requirement that there needed to be some transition to black towards the edges, I was giving creative freedom with the image’s content. I decided that a cute and cozy gamer bedroom might be something Steam users would be interested in.
